The Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to the team from Jackson Civil Engineering (Key Street project), who generously donated the full cost of the beautiful new illuminated star for the top of the Borden Christmas tree.

For the benefit of Borden parishioners and visitors, they also used their own cherry picker to install the new star, at no cost to the parish, and at the same time, kindly replaced light bulbs that were no longer working.

Thanks to their help, the star and lights were ready in time for the Borden Fete Committee's annual Christmas light switch-on on 23rd November.
