BECOME A PARISH COUNCILLOR

Borden Parish Council currently has four Parish Councillor vacancies and is inviting residents to apply for co-option.

Make a Difference in Borden

Have a say in the future of your community by becoming a Parish Councillor.

By volunteering a little of your time, you will represent residents, help make decisions that protect our valued local facilities and open spaces, support community events and work with other organisations to make positive change, making Borden an even better place to live, work and thrive.

No previous experience is necessary

Just an interest in your local community and a willingness to get involved, along with availability to attend the Parish Council’s monthly meeting on the third Thursday of every month.

How to apply

Visit www.bordenparishcouncil.gov.uk and select Councillor Vacancies to download an application form and to find further details on the role of a Parish Councillor.

Or, contact the Parish Clerk to request a paper application form or to ask any further questions you may have: [email protected]

The Closing date for current co-option applications is Thursday 12th November 2026.
